Genesee Country Village Museum, May 2nd at 9:30 AM
Saturday, May 2nd. Meet BEFORE 0930 in the UPPER STAGING parking lot. That the lot that is around through the main lot, after you pass the main parking lot, head up the little side road and turn right. In the attached photo, it’s where the little red circle is.
We’ll drive in together at 0930 and park in the great meadow somewhere near the blue X in the photo.
No entry fee to the museum for club members with cars to display. Feel free to enjoy the museum for the day. There’s a big antique and artisan show, hence the request for cool old cars. There’s a little bar with a few decent beers on the hill overlooking the meadow. There’s an old timey village right next to the meadow through the tree line. If you’ve never been, it’s entertaining.
Either way, you must be parked at the meadow before 10am. It’s a pain to get people into the meadow at 10 because of the crowds. If you are late, don’t sweat it too much, just now it’ll be a pain. They’ll probably still let you park.
We can leave any time but need to be there before the crowd comes in the gates. If you want to leave early, they just have to make sure there’s no crowd in the way, so they’ll escort us out.
And if we want to leave together in the afternoon they can parade us out in a line.
