Fall Tour 2024

2024 Fall Tour

Due to an abnormally late start in planning, this year’s ride very similar to one we took 7 years ago, but some route changes were made to make it interesting and I believe more scenic.

Our starting location will be the American Legion where we hold our monthly meetings. This is also the day the Legion puts on their breakfast, so breakfast will be available at $13.00 per person. Please let me know if you want breakfast by the 13th, or just will come for the tour start.

We will hold a quick Driver’s Meeting at 10:30, with the first cars out at 11:00 AM.

The first leg will take us on a ~60 mile ride, starting west through Scottsville towards LeRoy, then head south, and hopefully the corn will be harvested for some nice views to the east of the Genesee River Valley. The destination at the end of the leg will be The Lumberyard Restaurant in Perry for lunch. There will be four menu choices with a price of $28.50 per person, which includes sales tax and gratuity. Once I have the menu choices I will list them here.

Leg 2 of the tour is ~54 miles and takes us back north for a bit, then headed east through Cuylerville and Geneseo and into Lakeville. From there it’s a nice scenic ride to Noble Sheppard, where we will end the tour with a refreshing beer. This is also an appreciation stop for the basket items they donated to us for the Car Show in July.

To sign up for the tour, please send an email to this link – Mike Robinson . (if the link does not work opening your email, send it to mrobins1057@twc.com) If you plan on having lunch, please indicate the number of people attending. Your food choices can be made at the Restaurant.

The cut-off date for signing up for lunch is Wednesday October 16th, as I will need to give them the final headcount that day. There is no requirement for a headcount for Noble Sheppard.
