The 1908 Great Race from New York to Paris

A rare chance to see the actual wining car a 1907 Thomas Flyer, and relive the experiences of the longest race in history. Jeff Mahl, great grandson of George Schuster the mechanic and pilot of the Thomas Flyer becomes his great grandfather, and recounts his experiences of the race.

This presentation on July 23rd, 5:00pm at the Buffalo Transportation Museum is closed to the public, and only a few clubs have access to this presentation. Tickets must be purchased in advance by July 15th.

We’ve seen Jeffs presentation (though not from the Thomas Flyer), and this is an event that should not be missed.

Chuck Facklam (AACA) has invited members of the MGCC to join them for this presentation. The event flyer is attached which explains how to purchase tickets to this event.
